Union Local School District COVID Update

 Union Local School District

May 17, 2021

Good Afternoon,

The Union Local School District has one new confirmed case of COVID.  This case is in a student at Union Local High School. There is one other case in a staff member at Union Local Elementary.  Thus there are a total of two active cases in students and staff within the district.

Families are asked to report any positive cases of COVID within their child to their respective child’s school nurse.  Also, if the child may have been considered a close contact of someone with a positive case this should be reported to the school nurses.  They can be accessed by the building numbers or by calling the Union Local Elementary number is 740-526-6832 or the  Union Local Middle and High School number is 740-526-1409.

In addition to the above information, the district is requesting that families continue to complete daily at home monitoring of children prior to them coming to school.  It is of the utmost importance that these steps be completed
