Good Afternoon,
First, I want to thank everyone, staff, students, and families for their cooperation during the threat made today at Union Local High School. The Belmont County Sheriff's Department secured the building and the threat has been turned over to them.
Second, the Union Local Pops Concert will be held tonight in the Union Local High School Gym. Tickets are available at the door. Adult tickets are $3 and student tickets are $2. Please be reminded that face masks are required and social distancing should be maintained.
Third, the Union Local School District in cooperation with the Belmont County Health Department will be offering the Pfizer Vaccine tomorrow for students 16 and olders. Students must have parental consent. The vaccine will also be available to staff and community members who are interested in getting the vaccine. This service will be available from 11:30-1:30 in the high school nurses offices. If you have any questions about the vaccine please call Tracey Childress at 740-782-1181.
