As you may be aware, Ohio’s health orders will end on June 2, 2021. One of the health orders that had been issued was the mask mandate in public settings. As of June 2, 2021, the Union Local School District will not require masks to be worn in buildings. Employees, families, and community members will make the decision independently as to whether or not they or their children wear a mask while within the district buildings.
In summary, masks are optional but not mandatory for anyone entering Union Local elementary school, middle school, high school, or any other district facility.
